Why do people who gossip about me, do not understand why I do not like it?
I work with a couple of people who spend all day in a nonstop frenzy Gossip. This includes gossip about me. Do not gossip about them, because I think there is nothing productive about it. Once you leave your cube, I hear them whispering and speaking ill of me. So every time I see them in the hallway or the cafeteria or elsewhere, I give just the cold and the reverse. Then later in the day are in my messenger saying: "Why are you being rude to us." Some say that I should take "the road" and be nice when I see them every day. I disagree because I do not know why I should give more gossip fuel. Or two faces are incredibly they see nothing wrong in his drama and Backstabbing, or they are just too stupid to recognize how shallow and they are immature. What are your thoughts?
When asked why he is rude, just tell them that you do not have the time nor the patience for gossip and sorry if they see that as rude, but you see their behavior so childish and unproductive. Then ask if you can agree or disagree. Taking the height does not mean you must embrace their Hiney. It simply means that you choose not to participate in small bs, and that includes friendship not pretend, if not won. Jokes like "good morning" and walk through the greetings are obligatory, but more Beyond that, it must relate to these people.
