What is the most reliable knot used to attach a braided main line to mono shock leader?
I currently use a Baitcast - Abu Garcia Revo STX (freshwater drum) with a main line of test £ 30 a pound. I was thinking about joining a mono shock leader. What knot is more reliable to use and what kind of leader-Pound impact test should be used. Since I'm casting my attraction throughout the day for node is the best with external exposure even less reliable in the Pause / slip. I `d go with the improved Albright or Albright knot. Do not worry about the knot with his play guides, because the node is made more efficient, so you should not have reel leader in shock long before the node is in the guides anyway.
