What is the best plastic colored soft attraction / worm to use a red hook?
I heard before the red hooks work very well when Bass Fishing ... something that makes the lure / worm look like your bleeding. My question is: what is the best color for use with this book. East question. I use a platform from Texas to size 3 double hook Gamakatsu round normally. I think I've seen tv shows where the Pro uses a light color attracts like Chartreuse. Any help make ... thank you.
It is very hard because some swear by red and hook the other, as I say it's all gimmick. If you designate the color spectrum underwater, Red does not really disappear, it becomes gray-black after a few feet. The idea behind the red hook is supposed to be used for applications with high water or at least 3 feet of water column. This is true to some extent, but the water clarity is important here. Crystal clear water and you can see red on the hook until it hits bottom. Contaminated water and is only a few feet. It is the combination of a lure is shows that the bait is combustion gills ... a sign of distress or feeding, bleeding. This is supposed to cause a fish insticnt involuntarilly in attack. Yes ... anyway, you can use these attractive hooks with any color you can dream. Is supposed to be better with water from top to bottom 3 feet or less, but as I said, the water clarity is key.
