What type of line is used for worm fishing and weeds / cover fishing?
my girlfriend is bringing me a new line for Valentine's Day. I bought an installation of wiring for worm fishing reel and Baitcast. Im gonna get a 7-foot rod for fishing in weeds and others. I do not know what kind of line that should get with these settings. any help would be awesome
It depends on what weight the lid Fishing is ...? If your tower and quality in the tangled weeds, lilies, RIP-rap structure of wood, and around dock pilings suggest to use a 17lb Flurocarbon Mono or Braid or Power Pro 10/40 with a 17lb leader flurocarbon leader. For spinning? Again, this is generally where fishing ...? If your open water with very low barriers to go to 8 or 10 pounds mono Flurocarbon. If you are very harsh weeds 12lb Mono / Fluro or Power Pro Braid 6 / 20. Most come with rolls of 2 spinning reels. A good idea is to line your tail with an extra line so that different weights can be prepared for any eventuality. Hope this helps? Good luck for the catches.
