What is the "Team Daiwa"?
Daiwa site says nothing about Daiwa, except the list that is currently in it. But more specifically, how TD rods and reels Daiwa different from ordinary matter? I also see that there are different sets of gear Daiwa equipment for example, TD-A, TD-S, etc., what is the difference? My guess is that Team Daiwa is actually a group of professional fishing tournament sponsors Daiwa. Daiwa integrates their contributions SOME in bars and coils are appointed TD. I also guess that there were teams of "several", with each receiving a letter one (TD-A, TD-B, etc.). The current team is Mike Iaconelli, ISH Monroe, Mike Folkstadt, Takahiro Omori, and Dustin Wilkes (from the website at Daiwa).
Well .... the Daiwa "the team is top of the line can not be sustained." All you have to do is see the reels and Daiwa HIGH realize they have no label at Daiwa. The Steez Spinning Reels certat and are a good example. Neither, though retail for over $ 300 Daiwa has a name ... anywhere. It's just a marketing tool. It seems that is "higher" end products, but in truth, it is not. It seems they do not tend to put rods or coils that are too far down the list of products, however, all you have to do for a tooth that the theory is to go to a local sport and watch the price or Daiwa rod / reel combo for $ 34.99. Daiwa is not sponsored anglers. And in a sense they are "Team Daiwa", but that has nothing to do with the rod / reel up line. So to answer your question, just words they use to make things sound cooler. Nothing more.
