8 lines to the pound Topwater?
A 8-pound monofilament to light for topwaters? I'm not going to throw frogs in areas of low coverage. I speak buzzbaits poppers and offshore.
DD & Wormist are preaching the Gospel. Well guys. The key to fishing Topwater is: # 1. Attracting the distance as far as possible (so the fish does not see). # 2. Using high line diameter compared to mono-fluorocarbon and Braid, Mono has the best "floating" feature. Sinks also online, the larger the diameter of the "slower". In general, you like 14-17lb when fishing line, for Mono Topwaters diameter size will be "secular" floats "on the surface better than any other line. (This allows to "walk the dog" easier ") And when its heavy fishing vegetables that wants the highest diameter DEF / line strength as possible! Like So, in my personal experience, anything that uses lighter than 12 pounds, is "having trouble". £ 14 would be preferable and would be about 17lb perfect.
